Jewish Tenets/Beliefs
There are fundamental beliefs (Cornerstones
of Judaism) that are deeply rooted in the Jewish
Culture. The Jewish people look at life as a
unit or one whole and their religious convictions
and daily life are not two separate entities,
but one to be lived out on a daily basis. Apostolic
Christianity is rooted in Biblical Judaism and
many of the insights held today among religious
Jews were also discussed and taught by Paul,
G-d’s Jewish emissary to the Gentiles
and author of over 2/3 of the New Testament.
If you want to enhance your relationship with
G-d while expanding your personal knowledge
of the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the New Testament.
You will not want to miss these life-changing
lectures that reveal remarkable insights into
the teachings of Abraham, Moses, David, Y’shua
(Jesus), the Apostles, and especially Paul.
Fredrick Nietche, one of the most influential
thinkers of modernity concluded that the greatest
tragedy for the Church is that it fostered the
illusion “that it had any truth apart
from the House of Israel and that Paul’s
Christology (Messiology) wasn’t Jewish.”
Furthermore, he reveals that Paul was potentialized
Judaism, he was everything Judaism was to become.
What did Paul teach?
Introduction to Jewish Biblical Studies:
In this exciting four week course you will
learn: the difference between Greek and Hebrew
logic, the four modes of scriptural interpretation,
and an overview of the five major covenants
of the Bible.
Jewish Biblical Studies 101: The Avrahamic
Covenant
The Avrahamic Covenant is the central covenant
upon which salvation history is rooted. During
this course we will take an in-depth look into
this covenant as it pertains to:
The Conscience; The Covenant of Circumcision;
The Inheritance of the Land of Israel; and The
Royal Priesthood.
Jewish Biblical Studies 102: Tikun
Olam
“Tikkun Olam” means, “repairing
the world through holiness.” How important
are our works? James said, “Faith without
works is dead.” In an hour when lawlessness
is escalating in American society, Israel and
around the world, we need to look at eternal
truths that invoke and manifest righteousness
in the earth. The grace of G-d reigns through
righteousness—and if we possess the righteousness
G-d has imputed unto us through faith and obedience
to His Word, then we must manifest that righteousness
in our daily living.
Jewish Biblical Studies 103: Tzinuit
(for women)
Tzinuit. Modesty is one of the most mis-understood
and yet the most beautiful subjects in both
the Christian and Jewish religious worlds. Modesty
is the character trait that produces a “meek
and quiet” spirit which is of great price
in the sight of G-d. Learn the secrets behind
tzinuit and apply them to your soul and watch
your life blossom.
Jewish Biblical Studies 104: The Shema
The Shema and Monotheism is the main anchor
of the Jewish Faith. How does Monotheism fit
into the doctrinal tenets of Christianity or
does it? This four week course examines the
G-dhead from a Jewish perspective.
Have you questioned how the G-dhead works?
Have you ever wondered who to pray too? This
course will explore all this and more.
Jewish Biblical Studies 105: Torah
Study.
The place of the “Torah” within
Christianity is one that spans both the Tanakh
and central ideals of Christianity. We have
often said, “We are not under the law,
but under grace.” For the most part, the
concept of understanding what it means to “be
under the law” is a foreign concept in
the non-Jewish world. This course covers:
Understanding the Torah:
Torah and the New Testament
Overview of the Oral Law (Talmud, Mishneh, Kaballah)
The differences between Rabbinical and Biblical
Judaism
Weekly Torah Classes (for men and for
women)
Morning for women
Evening for men
Each week will look at the Torah and Prophetic
portions of the Bible taught in the synagogue
every Sabbath. We will also look at any NT connections
that may exist.
